Bloomberg Financial Services

Led interaction design and product strategy for several Bloomberg Community tools on the Bloomberg Terminal. Defined business goals and user success metrics; Investigated market trends; Designed user experience and prototypes; Formed relationships with clients and gathered insights from them. Launched the first MVP (v.0 and v.1) of numerous products, while leading other designers in through product development. 

Context: The Bloomberg Terminal generates over 8 billion dollars a year and billions of dollars of transactions take place over the system.

Bloomberg Connects is an end-to-end digital asset management tool now serving 750+ museums and public spaces including the Met, NYBG, Guggenheim, Central Park Conservancy + MoMA PS1.

Case Study: Tausight
Role: Product Design Lead

Security + Real-Time Data Telemetry

Led a team of designers and engineers on the design of a real-time telemetry system for Tausight, a healthcare cybersecurity platform detecting Protected Health Information (PHI).

Spearheaded the product strategy, system design, data design and implementation of this experience for over two years. Collaborated closely with Customer Success, Engineering + ML teams to define the problem, product strategy and to create the best customer experience.

Context: Tausight uses machine learning and natural language processing to automate the detection of risky data in the healthcare.

Ad Buying Platform

I led the interaction design and visual design for an ad-buying order management tool. I conducted stakeholder interviews, designed an entirely new 0 to 1 system in 6 weeks, and collaborated with product, design, and engineering to build the product. I led 4 design workshops with all executive stakeholders across the various media companies through the course of 6 weeks.

Context: NBCU, Viacom and Fox joined forces to design a system to sell advertisers TV ad space across Television networks. We built an audience segment builder along with an order management tool to enable advertisers to purchase TV ad space.

Case Study: New York Life Investment Management
Role: Lead UX Designer

Wealth Management Tools

Led the interaction design and created a design system of patterns and components across the entire financial product experience. Collaborated with product, design, and engineering teams to gather insight and have those insights drive the design iteration. Designed the entire experience across desktop and mobile (mobile first). Also defined the final visual design for many charts.

Context: New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) manages over 500 billion dollars of assets, and wanted to create a data-rich experience to showcase their financial products and wealth management tools.
